On March 11, 2025, Voice of Children organized a National Level Discussion Program in Kathmandu, Nepal, focusing on amendments to existing laws related to sexual violence against boys. This event was supported by Family for Every Child (UK Global Alliance) and the Oak Foundation.

The Chief Guest of the program was the Honorable Justice of the Supreme Court and Chairperson of the Central Child Justice Committee (CCJC). Other distinguished guests included Honorable Justices from the District Courts of Lalitpur and Bhaktapur, the Vice President of the National Child Rights Council (NCRC), the Joint Secretary of the Nepal Law Commission, the Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Women, Children, and Senior Citizens, and the Vice President of the Nepal Bar Association.

The program brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from the Nepal Police Women, Children, and Senior Citizens’ Service Center, NGOs, the Nepal Bar Association, lawyers, and other experts. All attendees reached a consensus on the need to amend existing laws to better address and combat sexual violence against boys.
